The best sun-ripened fruits and excellent wines are the basis for producing dense and robust distillates and delicately fruity vinegars. Modern technology plays an important role in the production processes, but what is ultimately decisive is the wealth of experience and skill of Alois Gölles and his team.

Vulcano – from the field to the table – everything homemade from a single source.
Our products are as gently seasoned as the rolling East Styrian hills. Our hams are cured from 8 to 27 months until their exceptional aroma is achieved. Connoisseurs and gourmets appreciate the typical "Vulcano" taste, which was honoured as the Austrian national champion in 2008 with the highly-acclaimed "Steirischen Lucullus" culinary prize for typical regional specialities.
Only selected pigs on the farms of the three "Volcano" farmers are fed a special diet for ham production.

Immerse yourself in the world of chocolate. The guided tasting tour around the z o t t e r world of chocolate provides valuable information on chocolate as well as numerous creatively arranged titbit stations. You wander around the transparent ChocolateFactory along paths of glass and accompany the transformation of the cocoa bean into chocolate.

Fink's Delicatessen & Restaurant Haberl
Fink's Echte Delikatessen has been making delicacies in Southeast Styria since 2002.
A wide variety of "Styrian flavour" is also conserved in the Echte Delikatessen of Bettina and Hans-Peter Fink. Made based on Styrian tradition but with lots of creative mixing of subtle flavours:

- Without added preservatives and free of any artificial flavours

Berghofer Mill - Corn & Oil Mill
True to the motto "Roving is the miller's delight", you can also enjoy wandering around the mill on a guided tour. When you visit our mill, you will be "plunged" into the world of mills and taken on a nostalgic journey through time and space. You get to experience the mill and mill trade with all the related mill objects, such as roller mills, sorting machines, millstones, roasting pan, press, ....... Thus, you see a fully working mill as a source of healthy eating, and source of experience and fascination, not just as technical equipment. On our tour through the mill you will see for yourself the fascinating production process of different types of grain.

Winkler Hermaden - Vineyard, Castle, Hotel & Restaurant
The vineyard is located in Southeast Styria, in the heart of the Styrian volcanic hills, only a few kilometres away from the Slovenian and Hungarian borders.
The vineyards of the estate (Ried Winzerkogel, Ried Kirchleiten, Ried Schlosskogel, Ried an der Kapelle, Ried Rosenleiten und Ried Hinteregg) are planted on the steep slopes of a volcanic cone.

Eibel Winery
The vineyard lies 5 km south east of the Riegersburg, close to the hotel. The Welschriesling, White Burgundy, Morillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Yellow Muscatel and Blauer Zweigelt varieties prosper on volcanic soils. The winery on the Starzenberg, next to the Genusshotel Riegersburg, is also run as a Styrian "Buschenschank" (wine tavern). It is open from Friday to Sunday from April until October.
You can also purchase wine outside the regular opening hours by prior appointment.
