The hotel lies on the Styrian Castle Route, which connects many magnificent buildings and fortifications of cultural and historical interest. The new "Genusshotel" looks directly onto one of Austria's most impressive castles the Riegersburg.
From this sanctuary, it is only a short journey to the prettiest wine towns in Southeast Styria, to culturally valuable institutions, such as the Zotter Chocolate Factory, Gölles schnapps distillery and vinegar production, to Volcano, producers of cured ham, and finally, to the many "Buschenschanken", where you can sample typical Styrian delicacies in a cosy atmosphere.
